Every box is made from carefully selected cherrywood, prized for its deep reddish-brown colour and natural variations. The hand-carved surface plays with light and texture, highlighting the wood’s living character. Built using traditional woodworking methods inspired by shrink pots, each box is joined without nails or screws—allowing the material to move naturally with changes in humidity. Finished with linseed oil, it will develop a soft sheen and beautiful patina over time.

About the Wren

The wren (Troglodytes troglodytes) is a small but spirited bird, known for its rounded shape and short, upright tail. Its name comes from the Greek words for “creeper” and “cave dweller,” reflecting its habit of hiding in small crevices while foraging for insects. Despite its tiny size, the wren sings with remarkable strength—a clear, vibrant song that fills forests and gardens alike.
