The Kuon furniture collection by Japanese designer Kazushige Miyake is disarmingly simple yet extremely sophisticated. The small furniture series offers the right seating for every application. With or without a backrest, small or large – this collection has everything you need to furnish a small living room or create a harmonious ambience in the hallway, guest house or lounge. This season, the collection is being expanded to include a chaise lounge.

The pieces are intentionally rounded and soft, yet feature smooth edges. The designer aimed to create a sense of security and comfort through the use of tall, supportive backrests, behind which one can almost hide while seated. Typical of Kazushige Miyake’s aesthetic, nothing is left to chance. The elegant, fully upholstered backrest of the sofa, chaise lounge, and armchair ensures that the pieces look stunning in any setting.
