MY MAGPIE Vienna:
The reinterpretation of Viennese Art Nouveau,
Jewelry pieces that combine the aesthetics of Viennese modernism with 3D printed production
are the core of the Viennese jewelry label MY MAGPIE
Vienna. The brand of the studied industrial designer Stefanie Klausegger offers
feather-light jewelry made of flexible 3D printed polyamide, partly with
components gold-plated in sterling silver 925.
Jewelry with Viennese history
The source of inspiration for the jewelry are architectural elements, furniture as well as
Viennese Art Nouveau fabric patterns. Thus, each model has its own individual
history and conjures up art and culture in the everyday life of its wearers.
The classic Viennese Thonet weave can be found in the creations of MY MAGPIE
as well as elements of the Viennese Secession. “Viennese Art Nouveau has always fascinated me.
Every walk through Vienna provides me with a lot of inspiration for my
jewelry designs,” Klausegger says of her favorite epoch.
3D printing process for jewelry production
The plastic jewelry is made using a 3D printing process called selective laser sintering.
This manufacturing process creates no unnecessary waste. Unused
material powder is recycled and reused in the next printing process.
Again. In some jewelry, such as the latest Ver Sacrum
collection, the printed polyamide is combined with gold-plated sterling silver 925.
Industrial design ensures high wearing comfort
“When it comes to design, we pay particular attention to ensuring that the jewelry feels comfortable when worn.
Its adaptability and high level of wearing comfort quickly make the
jewelry a beloved, daily companion. All products are designed by
the industrial designer, manufactured exclusively in the EU and finished in Vienna by hand.
