Burnt Black is a collection of sculptural side tables and pillars that have the warm, characterful look of charred wood, but are made from polyresin, a strong and durable material. The design is inspired by Yakisugi, a traditional Japanese technique of burning wood to protect and strengthen it. Each piece is fully coloured and finished with a transparent protective layer, making it resistant to scratches and stains, and (semi) suitable for outdoor use.
