%100 Recycling is the basis of our production process. It’s the beginning of our story. Collected plastic bottles and leftover fabrics turn into fibers, and fibers to yarns.

To minimize carbon emissions, we do anything we can. We don’t consume clean water for production, nor do we waste anything. None. Zero. Instead, we use what is considered waste as an ingredient of our product. Decisive in the principle of zero waste, we are following our footprints with a great care.

UNDYED WITHOUT CHEMICALS

Thanks to leftover fabrics’ color, which we use in production, our beach towels and peshtemals are undyed and produced without any chemicals.

What Material does Green Petition Beach Towel Made of?

Green Petition beach towels are made from 100% recycled materials, ensuring that it is a product that has been developed with sustainability and eco-friendliness in mind. 50% of the recycled composition is made from recycled cotton that is taken from the leftover material of around five t-shirts. This yarm also forms part of the colour that is added to the beach towel, ensuring that no dye or chemical is used to colour any of the products developed. The remaining 50% of the composition made from 10 used plastic bottles that are turned into polyester yarn.

This material is helping to reduce the amount of waste that would otherwise be likely to land up in a landfill and contribute to polluting the planet. It is an important process to resume what we already have and turn them into products that would otherwise be created from scratch. The process of creating brand new material is a lengthy and consuming process that uses up a lot of natural resources and energy. Just by purchasing one of the Green Petition beach towels, you are helping to save around 5000 litres of fresh water, along with helping to reduce textile waste.
