Maximilian Lückenhaus

B3 / A 10-01

Munich artist Maximilian Lückenhaus presents high-quality prints behind acrylic glass from his artworks series “Metamorphosis” at the TrendSet Fine Arts Area. With this series of works he creates visual spatial compositions from abstract shapes and explores the interaction of colour elements with lighting effects and substructures in series of images. On the one hand, this leads to images full of a unique, individual aesthetics, and at the same time documents the creation process of the entire series like individual snapshots in a time-lapse recording. The series of works therefore not only presents image artworks, but also preserves the temporal dimension of its own origins.

For the design process, all works are based on the modification of scanned components of the artist’s ink & pencil drawings and gouache images. The components are then transformed and reassembled in digital processing steps. Each new image in the series uses graphic elements of the previous work, but arranges and reinterprets them using different effects and graphic additions.
