The trends in Spring/Summer 2020

The new central motif and the trend motifs of TrendSet Winter 2020 join together the looks and content of the trends. They show the way to the coming product worlds and give the specialty trade a preview of the trends in Spring/Summer 2020.

Sustainability is a big driver for new ideas and products in Spring/Summer 2020. But fun and creativity are not neglected. Fresh colours, high-contrast materials, vivid haptics, and a futuristic yet natural expression of the designs create a cosy minimalism. The new summer designs are naturally imperfect, modernly pure, and casually cool – sometimes in soft, lively, or luminous tones. The intended simplicity of many designs is manifested in elementary forms and imperfect surfaces. Iridescent, tactile materials set optical and haptic highlights. Naughty subjects combined with vibrant colours create cool urban styles. From pure to glamorous, from natural to peppy, the perfect look for everyone is available in Spring/Summer 2020.
