TrendSet Winter 2020: many visitors at the TrendSet Topic Areas

It was full in the aisles and at the stands at TrendSet Winter 2020 from 5 to 7 January 2020 in Munich. The exhibitors at the Topic Areas TrendSet Newcomer, TrendSet Country & Style, TrendSet Bijoutex, and TrendSet Fine Arts benefited from the high visitor traffic, especially on the first day of the fair. This is where many trade visitors took advantage of the opportunity to discover special product ranges, young companies and start-ups, new and innovative products, and works of fine art fresh from the atelier.

The Topic Areas of TrendSet present special themes and product ranges in a targeted and concentrated fashion. At TrendSet Country & Style, for example, one can find all sorts of trendy and traditional items such as traditionally-styled attire, country-inspired articles, and Alpine heritage gifts. Many trade visitors took advantage of TrendSet Winter 2020 to order new Heimat products and traditional costume articles at the Topic Area for Heimat Collections. “There’s a lot going on here at TrendSet Country & Style. It is surprisingly full and there are surprisingly many new customers at our trade fair stand. The first day of the fair was super; the other days are continuing to go well,” summarised Benjamin Vogel, head of sales at Zwitscherbox, about his successful participation in TrendSet Country & Style.

The Topic Area TrendSet Newcomer offers small and innovative companies, firms new to TrendSet, and young companies space to exhibit their new, innovative, and promising products and to come directly into contact with the market. “TrendSet Newcomer is an ingenious way for a start-up like ours to get in touch and to sell. We have already had so many direct orders here at the fair. Crazy. And everything is so well organized here; there’s a lot of support and everything is so uncomplicated. We will be back in the summer. Definitely!” said Max Neisen, founder and managing director of the start-up company “Speisekleid”, enthusiastically about his first participation in TrendSet Newcomer.

At TrendSet Winter 2020, the trade once again found everything new revolving around fashion jewellery, beauty, and fashion at TrendSet Bijoutex, the Topic Area for Accessories. “We are very satisfied at TrendSet Bijoutex. The first day of the fair was sensational. We took many orders, gained new customers, and met regular customers. TrendSet Winter is traditionally always very strong,” said Erik Beun, managing director of Malique by me, about his being at TrendSet Bijoutex again.

The success story of TrendSet Fine Arts enters its fourth round

In addition to the Topic Areas TrendSet Country & Style with its trendy Heimat products, TrendSet Newcomer with its new firms and young companies, and TrendSet Bijoutex with its new accessories, TrendSet Fine Arts appeared at TrendSet Winter 2020 in January, this time for the fourth time. At the art area of TrendSet, artists present individual works and series of contemporary art. Besides trade visitors who ordered one-of-a-kind pieces for extending their product ranges in their businesses or for adding to their own art collections, the offering of the art area is aimed towards art gallery owners, interior decorators, and interior designers. TrendSet Fine Arts is also of great interest to the hospitality and catering business. Hotel and restaurant owners can discover contemporary art fresh from the atelier, making use of it to individualise and aestheticise their spaces.

The painter Kerstin Emrich-Thomas described the possibilities at TrendSet Fine Arts in the following words: “TrendSet Fine Arts is a very good opportunity for us artists to present ourselves and make contacts. It makes it possible for our art to be seen by others. The people here in Munich and the surrounding area are those that either already collect art or have the necessary purchasing power to start collecting. The works here are high-level at affordable prices. The stand situation at TrendSet Fine Arts is very good. Everything is here, the works are perfectly staged, and the lounge furniture in the centre makes it easy to linger and to come into conversation with the artists. You can see that TrendSet Fine Arts is organized by people who know how it works and still bring as sense for art. As an artist, you will be well looked after here. The atmosphere is great. I’m still at TrendSet Fine Arts and I’m curious to see where the journey goes.”
