Inspirations, impulses, ideas: TrendSet Winter 2018

When white porcelain rabbits meet glamourous fabric hens. When trendy precious items with exciting living accessories try to outdo each other in the glitz stakes. When modern interiors make common cause with retrospective decorations. Then it is again time for TrendSet! From 6 to 8 January 2018, TrendSet in Munich has all these things and more to discover: the latest trends for living, dining, leisure, and giving.

The waiting is over. From 6 to 8 January 2018, TrendSet is opening its doors again. It is the first event for trends in the new year, with many new products and exciting trends waiting for trade visitors from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, northern Italy, and neighbouring European member states. At the start of the new sales year, about 2,500 brands and collections from about 40 countries around the globe are presenting their novelties for the coming season. And for the next Easter festival as well, there are a good deal of exciting decorations and accessories to discover. On approximately 100,000 square metres of exhibition space at Messe München (Munich Trade Fair Center), the large and small, niche suppliers and newcomers in the industry ignite fireworks of ideas and inspirations.

The trends in Spring/Summer 2018

In Spring/Summer 2018, nature is the main theme when it comes to trends. Earthy colours, relaxed patterns, and sustainable materials characterise the widely diverse trends of the coming summer. The deep attachment to the earth gives rise to new ethnic and near-natural designs. Natural and recycled textiles arise from the innovative power and creativity of excellence in craftsmanship. Green, from fresh to rustical, advances to an important statement colour as an expression of a natural lifestyle. Sustainable materials and production processes are the genesis of a new timelessness in designs. Prints and patterns in 3D give a technical touch to styles inspired by nature. Reality and virtuality melt together more and more.

More space for trendy products

For the first time ever at TrendSet Winter 2018, there is a Topseller Area. This is where exhibitors additionally present their most successful products. And many stands have at the ready preview articles for Winter 2018/19. In nine large exhibition halls, the trade will find the newest trends and products from Interiors & Lifestyle at TrendSet Winter 2018.
