OSMANKÄÄMI design is a tribute to Liisa Hjelt, who was the first textile designer of the Lapuan Kankurit company. Nature and vegetation are an endless source of inspiration in jacquard woven textiles. Liisa Hjelt designed the beloved jacquard wall hanging OSMANKÄÄMI in the 1970s. These beautiful textiles created homeliness and brought a piece of nature on the walls of many Finnish homes.
