TrendSet Winter 2023 starts the trade fair year for the industry in Munich.

It is the first Interiors & Lifestyle trade fair of the year. Directly after the holidays, TrendSet Winter 2023 from 7 to 9 January 2023 in Munich will show what is available for the spring/summer 2023 season with over 1,500 international brands and collections. For three days, from Saturday to Monday, trade visitors from southern and central Germany from the retail trade, wholesale, online trade, hotel industry and gastronomy as well as interested parties from neighbouring European countries including Scandinavia can discover the new trends and products live and order them directly.

The trade fair year for the interiors & lifestyle sector will also start in 2023 in Munich with TrendSet Winter 2023. Anyone who wants to discover and order the latest trends for the coming season and Easter will come here. In the 15 Interiors & Lifestyle Fair Areas and the three Topic Areas TrendSet Newcomer, TrendSet Fine Arts and TrendSet Bijoutex, exhibitors will present their new products, interiors and accessories for living and giving in six exhibition halls.

NEW: Product preview online and trend view in the TrendSet Journal catalogue

The TrendSet Journal is the first trend overview of the new season for TrendSet visitors. Now, for the first time, TrendSet has combined its Trend Journal and the fair catalogue into one medium. This means that trade visitors have all the information on trends, products, exhibitors, halls, fair areas and the fair at their fingertips in the new TrendSet Journal catalogue to help them prepare for the fair. Three weeks before the fair, the TrendSet Journal catalogue will be sent to a selected group of trade visitors and will be available online at https://trendset.de/en/trendset-journal/. Also new is the product overview per brand in the Exhibitor & Brand Search at https://trendset.de/en/exhibitorsearch/. The exhibitors and brands at TrendSet Winter 2023 are already showing here what new products will be on show in January in Munich.

Feature at TrendSet Winter 2023: 460 top brands from the kitchen sector

They belong to the classic trade fair products and yet have less and less space at trade fairs: kitchen articles and accessories. At TrendSet Winter 2023, interested trade visitors will find many top and traditional brands for trendy kitchen articles and household goods in Hall B2.

“The kitchen is a living space! People meet, talk to each other, cook, eat and drink – socialising in the kitchen has always had great significance. Being together with family or friends was and is an important part of the quality of life. After all, the kitchen is the true centre of the home. A rational workplace, but at the same time a cosy place to meet. The products that make up a kitchen, give it aesthetics and comfort, are given plenty of space at TrendSet Winter 2023. At TrendSet, you will find tableware, storage, towels and utensils as well as new food trends, delicacies, gourmet products and innovative beverage ideas. Because Kitchen & Tabletop and Food & Drink are part of lifestyle. Here, too, the focus is increasingly on regional and local products as well as sustainability in production and results,” says Tatjana Pannier, Managing Director of TrendSet.

Trends for Spring/Summer 2023

Sustainability is the central theme in spring/summer 2023. This refers to the materials, production and attitude of companies as well as to the personal lifestyle of each individual. Not only the things we use and consume should become more sustainable, but also life itself. Rest, relaxation and mindfulness strengthen our spiritual, mental and physical well-being.

The designs are based on the longing for nature and origin. Wood, hemp, rattan, stone and cotton are preferred materials with natural intentions. Organic shapes appear flowing, round or wavy for a soothing look. Light pastel colours such as matt lavender or light shades of blue and turquoise add a touch of serenity to the designs. Rich, fresh green has a mood-lifting effect. Sandy beige is grounding. Fiery red and bright ochre conjure up the colours of the sunset in the home. The designs combine different styles such as vintage, cottage chic, Scandi style, glamour home and modern interiors into a melange of cosy aesthetics. The LIGHT TIMES, SENSING PLACES and HAPPY ZONES trends translate the trends for spring/summer 2023 into interiors & lifestyle.

LIGHT TIMES exudes pure aesthetics and a lot of optimism with bright pastels and functional shapes.

SENSING PLACES creates peace, harmony and cosiness with rustic designs and colours.

HAPPY ZONES shows diversity, creativity and joy with expressive details and colour tones.
